My cruise control on my 92 Gs doesn’t work, the button will light up but when I press the button on the wheel no dash light and no cruise. My Abs light on my dash is on and ive been told (like 50/50) that it won’t work if the abs light is on, but if i disable the abs or clear the codes before it comes back on it still doesn’t work. What can I check to see if the box or buttons are working? All fuses are good. I daily this so I’d like working cruise especially when I go on long trips. Its an auto (I’ve checked the pedal switch so I know it’s not that)

Ah, the first thing I was gonna say was to check the pedal switch.
Let’s say maybe your cruise control light in the instrument panel is blown – I have noticed though, that my cruise control is VERY slow to engage: I would like the “set” button and the speed will drop sometimes 10 mi/h before finally engaging and bringing it back up to speed. It’s low on the priority list for me, so I haven’t spent much time trying to figure out what the problem is. Do you know whether this might also be happening for you? (I don’t have ABS.)
Have you checked the steering wheel wiring or dash switch harness connections? (This is probably unlikely, I haven’t heard of any issues with this before).
This might really be worth looking at the Helms manual.
