Lol its on the news here in Missouri about the storm system up there in New England.
Very nice job indeed of not hacking your original harness up. Did you wire up the reverse lights?
I am watching everything you are doing in your thread in order to do my swap.
Are you planning on running a starter relay? I hear that eventually the automatic ignition switches or something quit working because they cannot handle the current.
as for the ignition ive never heard of that i also swaped out the starter which u need to do. if you plan on doing the swap and need anything lmk i have a complete parts car except for the engine and tranny.heres a parts list of the parts you will need
manual tranny
clutch kit
flywheel and MANUAL flywheel bolts because the automatic are to short so u need the manual one
manual halfshaft its diff than the automatic
manual starter
shift linkage and shifter and shift knob
the best way to got is use the auto to manual mount from innovative mounts or u can shim the manual tranny mount with spacers and longer bolts
manual ecu. u can use the auto one but it will throw a cell code
manual gauge cluster not a necessity
drill and bits to make a 1 3/4 in hole in the firewall for the clucth cable, to drill the 2 holes to mount up the shift linkage .
clutch cable
manual pedals
manual t bracket
u can use ur automtic axles cuz i used mine cuz they were brand new and i havent had a problem.
u will need to bypass the parking lock and the ignition lock and wire up the reverse lights. i didnt post up pixs of the parking bypass because my friend did it before i could i might undo it so i can post pixs or u can see the thicker black cables in the previous post and connect them together
also the car will start without the clutch because u wont have the clutch sensor plugged in because u wont have the plug to plug the sensor in
i might be missing acouple things but if you have any ?s lmk il will help in any way i can
I have heard that all you need as far as motor mounts go is just the Hasport Racing Auto to Manual mount. Never heard anywhere about changing the t bracket with the manual one. Is it really necessary?
I used the innovative auto to manual mount n for the t bracket i read thetes a diff i. Didnt c a diff. But i had it so i used it just incase there was a diff
I feel you on that trouble with the snow! My shell cant even be found because of 6 to 7 foot snow drifts.

Yeah but they b plowing all the snow infront of ma doors
Yeah she’s runnin she the wifeys car now I have my other 4dr but actualy just blew my motor today. She drives her daily. I haven’t done much to her cuz I have been working on my car and my bikes.
yo brotha! sux to hear about your motor… what the heck did you do to it? FYI - i still have an old block & most of the bottom end sitting around if you need it… just let me know.
lol since you changed your trany y did you put a cable 1 and not a hydro lol
No not realy just threw some minty rear black seats beenmore concerned with my 2dr build. I totaled the original so now I’m working on the new shell and getting it right this is the bmoms car now so it doesn’t get attention except maitanance lol
man, this thing has come a long way. love it…at least seeing a db1 w/ some fat fives just opened up my options as i’ve been looking for some wheels/tires
I did cable cuz i had one and i didnt wana buy the conversion kit and a new tranny
I love ma db on the fat 5s ima put another set on it soon
When I get my 5 speed swap done, I am going to wire in a relay on those black wires. Run the ground thru the clutch switch. There might be a time when I cannot drive and I dont want someone wrecking the car when they start it. I think I am also going to remove that solenoid that keeps the key from being removed.
How hard was it to change that rear “T” bracket and the mount?
