i have a automatic 90 acura integra. shifts fine and drives but the damn thing doesnt go in reverse sometimes. and when u put it in it just makes a winding noise and revs up and sounds like there something in the transmision. but then u take it out and try again and it go in reverse no problem no noise. but its getting worse and to the point were it barely ever wants to go into reverse at all. does anyone know how to mess with automatic transmisions please help its ma girls daily and shes prego we need this car to go to and from doc apoinments im located in new britain connecticut. i have a garage we can work on it in
sounds like it’s probably the solenoid not actuating completely.
or the linkage needs to be adjusted.
