Who’s riled up? I cetainly am not. If you want to go and spend $20 per plug, by all means. I never said my opinion is gospel and you are certainly entitled to yours. But I’ve built many motors and tried both (platinums and iridiums) and I’ll stick with coppers… Guess I’m cutting corners with cheap ass $7 plugs in my $6000 motor. hehehe :crazy:
if they decked the block .050", your PCT is sticking out .030"… (b16/b17 blocks have a .020" deck hight)
like dan said, you may wanna check your clearances and clay the head…
13.x:1 is freaking high… i’d be scared to run that…
i’ve also heard that PCT pistons in b16/b17s have clearance issues as it is… (only the b16b was setup for them)
whats the purpose ur building this motor for? full race?
you’re gonna need race fuel to run that CR
It’s more like 12.4 with PCTs because what C-Speed failed to calculate is that PCTs sit 1mm out of the deck.
