I literally just got done reading his book last night. lol. It’s really good too.
It’s different than any other SOF book I’ve read and he keeps true to his word about it not being about him and not revealing secrets. Not once does he brag about himself (although he could rightfully do so) and he reveals very very little about any training it takes to get into DEVGRU. Typically in these types of books there’s at least a few chapters with details about what it takes to become a SEAL and the training and try outs they go through, and there’s always a bit of ego throughout the book (which I don’t mind, they are SEALs after all), but there is zero ego in this book and only a slight mention of some of the training leading up to DEVGRU. If anything, he downplays how bad ass he is.
Too bad yall can’t be as good as him.
Your mother thinks I’m good.
Too bad you’re not 1/10th the man Jay and I are.
Jay–there’s an old adage I learned from my colleagues from 373 in 2009–how do you know SEALs were involved with an operation? They write a book about it. :giggle:
Same gent then challenged me to name three ops Delta carried out in the last 5 years, not counting summer 09. As expected, a blank were drawn. Much to that, methinks.

Hoodrat is as hoodrat does.
Hoodrat? Seriously? Wow… Anyhow, Link doesn’t work on the pad. Based on the title, I assumed this was about the mars rover, lol.

That’s why my friends call me Whiskers.
I feel like that statement needed a NO HOMO disclaimer. :gay:
As you have absolutely no experience in the career field, I’m not surprised.
What the frick does that have to do with you sounding like a homosexual? Like the fact that you and Jay being in the .mil makes you more of a man in some dick measuring contest.
You’re the one who, given a completely benign statement, instantly thought of penises and the methods of their measurement. Perhaps it’s YOU who are the homosexual, sir.
Births and ferret feel like they’re the only ones with careers on here or something and on top of that they think they’re the shit because they work in the .mil field…FOH
Incorrect, ma’am. We KNOW we’re the shit because of many factors…our careers notwithstanding. And of course we don’t think we’re the only ones with careers on here, you nitwit. Even Knowledge has a really decent gig going. It’s just hilariously fun to see you get hooked so easily when the bait is cast. :giggle:
For the record, Knowledge, Jay and I go round and round all the time. Knowledge may be wrong but he still stands up for what he believes in and forms reasonable arguments to back his opinions…even though they’re wrong. :giggle: I can respect him for that, and do.
You, however, are just a buzzing mosquito who brings nothing reasonable to the table other than playground insults and name-calling. And frankly, we don’t respect that.
Mister poopypants.
Please expand upon this. I’m not sure how my comment at the beginning of this thread (or anywhere on G2IC) suggested anything you just mentioned.
He’s been overwhelmed by your awesome. Sillypants.
I have no desire to bring anything to the table filled by faggots.
