If a DA were to get in an accident pushing exactly the where the ‘A’ emblem would be, could there be hinge and front support damage? Just wondering as this may be an optional car to buy.

if it was hit hard enough the rad core support could have bent and possibly even the radiator may be punctured, and up top like that it wont leak until the fluid gets hot enough to rise up there.
yeah looking from the pictures i’d say this wasnt too hard of a collision. Low speed (15- 30)? Just looking to get some input from people that have been in accidents or seen similar ones in person.
you can definitly see that the core support is bent in that picture. you can bend it back out but you have to be careful. if the core support is bent i would say that there is a 90% chance the radiator is busted. slap a hood on it and some 1 piece headlights and i would say its good to go, at least by looking at the picture
If there was damage by the hinges you would be able to see it. I highly doubt that there is damage to the hinge area as the hood is designed to bend at certan points (crumple points). This looks like an easy fix just replace the upper core support. This will require spot welding.
