Who all would be interested? My boy Tony from FaceTuned Tuning here in Tacoma, WA has been turning out some nice ones for civics and gen 3s. We had been talking about using my car to start producing them for the DA. He asked me to see how much interest there is in the g2 community. If enough, he wanted me to get a group buy going. Price will be $365 (+shipping if not local.) Which includes everything needed for install. Front mount included. Any interest? Email me with any questions or to get on the list. cascadehondacrew@live.com
DC model with no front mount provision. Pictured just to give an idea of the product.
From an R&D perspective, what does an after market traction bar do over the stock radius rods on a circuit/road race/autox course? (Besides free up space) It looks like a great product, I’ve never been completely sold on these items.
From what I’ve read this has yet to be explained. I think they’ve shown proven results in drag but a lot of the RR guys like to stick to the OEM setup. In our cars I think a modified OEM setup with spherical bearings and adjustable length radius rods would be best, but that would be a lot of fab work and gathering parts. That’s why I opted for an aftermarket one. With the proper bearing/bushing setup I don’t think there’s any benefit to one of these over the OEM setup - other than caster adjustment.
Colin basically nailed it. They sure do help on the 1/4 though…
Bump!
Damn, I didn’t even realize you were on here too lol
Who me?? I get around! Hahaha.
