DA truck conversion

i’ve seen those GTRs with a truck conversion thought it was meann but i started to think if I could do that…if i had another car to drive around haha. uhh i kinda shooped a pic of it not the best but you gety the idea. anyone heard of a DA truck or thoughts about it?

HAHA! That’s funny. I’d say get the bed from an old Nissan or Toyota pick up. Some how, shape out the bed and/or DA body to match. Get an S2000 motor and drive train and convert to RWD. Anything else I’m missing? Oh Yeah . . . a shit load of time and money. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not knocking the idea. Shit, If I was rich and bored . . . I’d do it. It’s been done to an S13 coupe for a drift car. Why not a DA?

Good Luck with that. :read:

Just remove the hatch and build a bed with the rest of it

Kinda like this http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=624567

That rx7 came out looking good so u can try that

ah thats sound really sick. maybe ill put that into consideration for the fa future. thanks anyway. at least if anyone get this idea they can see this. that rx-7 was sickk

This was built in Japan for the Tokyo Auto Salon 2007.

OMFG!!!

I think I am shellshocked to see how you cut your car apart. But in any case I wish you best of luck. I wanna see how it turns out. I say put a flat bed on the back.

I always see that pic of the one in tokyo but any one got any other angles? I wanted to see what it looked like from the back.

Only rear image I know of.

THAT IS AWESOME!!!

for the record I would never do this, but something like this? That thing looked like it was in good shape too :frowning:

That does not look like it is very safe to me.

Those pillars that were cut were for body integrity. Looks like they did nothing to compensate for this.

btw that first pic is a terrible photoshop job, its not real. See the speaker grille on the opposite side through the window and the poor photopaint? :umno:

judging from the bike they have, theyre stunters. and last time i checked, things like getting on top of your handlebars and facing backwards at 40 mph, wheelies at 100mph, the chainsaw, and pretty much all the other shit those crazy bastards do is pretty dangerous.

they only have the car to pick up dead bikes after breaking them, my boys crew has a pickup that they use for this reason.

i agree though this is an abomination. why cant people do this shit with cars that have bad frames and body panels?

e: its a freakin canadian one too. god damnit im positive there are more rusted, shitty examples of integras up in canukland.
those stuntas just dont give a fuuuu

i hope your kidding … please tell me your kidding

I’d rather you use your time wisely. Figure out a way to make a hatchback a convertible

1ac4u2nv FTW! I was looking for that pic, but couldn’t find it.

lemme get those seatbelts, i dont think theyll be needing it

dude i said its not the best pic but you get the idea such a critic man

i thought about trying to make a DA into a coupe. and i have also had the truck idea go through my brain. what those stunters did is an abomination. i think that if thay had not cut the c-pillars it would look better. i think i had seen somebody do something similar with a mini cooper. cant remember where i saw it though.
