well im assuming ur method of payment was through a debit/credit card, which im sure the company has logged somewhere. so if ur that concerned i’d either contact them and see if they can send u some record of payment, or contact the bank of the card u used.-

ok lets cut out the street racing stuff, i’ve never street raced but i do drive spirited, and i have gotten caught for it on a freeway once after getting on a long turn onramp, i was MASHING IT especially having azenis so there was a cop right after i entered and he was like you know how fast you were going? you were tailgating that car blahblah, but i got lucky and he let me go with no ticket or anything, that was my lucky day, but i’m just scared one day ill get caught for driving spirited again and there goes my car… that would really be stupid.

i think there may be some serious questions about the legality of what the courts are doing here. first of all, the impression that i and most others seem to be getting is that unless you can prove its legit, then its stolen. it’s innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven otherwise. unless they can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the part is stolen (serial numbers obviously mutilated or something) then they shouldn’t be able to just crush someone’s car. also, why crush the entire car over one part? pull that part and impound the car for a long while and fine owner. it just dosn’t seem right destroying someone’s property like that if the majority of it is legitimately obtained.
that said, i in no way am defending the people who are stealing cars and trading parts. i had my volvo stolen this past summer and it sucked. i drove around fro two days with a baseball bat on my lap hoping to find it. i got lucky though. it was just some assholes who took it for a joyride and dumped it in the next county. cops recovered it in three days. never caught who did it.
