Whats up everyone? Im pretty new around here. Been checking out some of the great builds on here. Anyway, last year during the end of summer i picked up a 91 LS-Special. I love this car! Its not too clean but i dont care. When i got it, it didnt run and the previous owner didnt know why. After i got it home, i could whoever had this car before me had no idea of what the hell they were doing. The first thing i did was throw a cap and rotor in her and she fired right up! after some time driving around, i started running into problems… The clutch started to slip, needed an alignment, and many other small things. When i went to go change my clutch, i noticed my bell housing on my tranny was fucked. It was cracked soooo bad and im not even low. Must have been from someone else. Didnt have time or money at the time to replace it so i put it back in. I will upload pics later today.

Thanks acura_madness. I went and made a photobucket account but now I have to wait until I get to my computer. But I have a little update. Got all my motor mounts out. Rear mount wasn’t as bad as everybody made it sound. I was about to put the tranny in but it started to down pour. I will try to upload pics as soon as possible.

To this day (about 4 months later) the clutch is still going strong. Not one single problem with it. I guess its a hit and miss with ebay parts.

Well recently the teg started to get pretty expensive and i couldnt really afford it, and my brother seemed to like her alot so i made a deal with him. We are gonna build her together until i can get another project DA which i probably will this summer. Let me know what you think, positive or negative.

No ps,ac,cc, or abs. Also the battery is in the hatch.
What are the plans for said build?

Its gonna be a somewhat slow build. Don’t have a lot of plans as of now for the motor. Mainly focusing on fixing up the body and suspension. Gonna be saving up over the summer and pick up a C5 or C1 in the winter. Right now I’m putting a new tranny in her because my other one decided to blow apart.
As for the body we will be getting:
92-93 front bumper
Wings west rear bumper
Mugen rep skirts
OEM DB2 or DA6 wing
CF hood
CF hatch
Repaint original Flint Black Metallic
Konig Lightnings

Got some progress… got the tranny mounted up. But when I went to put the front motor mount in, the top hole was stripped. So I went and tapped it out and got a bolt. It threaded good, I just hope its gonna hold. Hopefully gonna get it running tomorrow. Its been one long month without driving her lol gonna change the oil and filter tomorrow also.
