Dam my car!!!

Well like a dum a**, i have been driving around with the battery light on for a couple of days. Sometimes it stayed on sometimes it flickered and went off. Well Yesterday my car lost power and turned off, so I bought me a new battery and everything was cool but the battery light came on again. I get home and now my car doesn’t start. I still get power to everything but it just clicks when I turn the ignition. the only way to start the car is if i pop the clutch down my hill. Dam what could it be.

Sorry for the long post and thank you in advance for listening.

90% sure it’s the alternator.

alternator or short.

alternator I’m sure ! Try getting it started then take the red cable off the batt. and if it shut off ,its definitely your alternator . According to the Haynes maintenance book you have to take off the cv axle cuz theres not enough clearance to just pull it down . I took off my brake master cylinder cause the nut holding the axle on wouldn’t break. Its a little messy and awkwards but it worked for me and it seemed like less stuff i had to take off.
