As of 2 weeks ago, I am now the proud owner of a 1990 GS 
Anyways, a few days after I got it, i started to hear the dreaded clicking going around corners. My 10 day inspection ran out so I took it to get inspected. The mechanic called me in and showed my that my CV boot was completely torn and I needed both new front axles. What i wanna know is how long i can drive on these with f’ed up CV joints I plan on getting them fixed next week or so.

i dont think it would hurt the car, because i’d think you would only mess up the cv axle, but its broken already, and you are going to replace it. i dont know if that made sense, but hope it helped
I currently have the same problem on mine, and i was told to just be careful with the axle, not to burn people racing, and to get it fixed when i got the first opportunity to do so
