DB2 Front End Damage. How Much to Sell For?

Hi everyone! I recently rear-ended someone almost 2 weeks ago. Been debating if I should fix it or sell it and get another car.
I took off the front bumper and lights and it seems like I could just replace the radiator support. I’ve read that you need to drill the spot welds and that’ll come off. Also read that you need to have a shop pull it first before drilling. I wanted to just drill it out because the main frame seems fine. Then again, I’m no expert and probably can’t see something a professional could see.

I haven’t called any shops for a quote on pulling the support. I’ve only been to one junkyard and only saw 2 integras, both which had front end damage like mine.
Just wanted to see what you guys would pay or think I should sell it for.

Just got a new cat welded in and passed smog last month in December 2012.
New Koni Yellows/GC Coilover kit installed in June 2012.
Odometer reads 472k. Yes, 472k.
Previous owner said engine and tranny was rebuilt around 245k.
So motor and tranny is about 227k since rebuilt.
New front brake pads installed a week before accident.
No original seats. Had ripped leather. Swapped for LS seats. Front n back different pattern but main color is charcoal grey.
Sebring axle-back exhaust. 90-91 oem b-pipe (it’s shorter than 92-93, which causes me to get ->). HKS exhaust extension adapter.
Replaced both axles and lower ball joints 39k miles ago. Timing belt service also done 39k miles ago.
Sitting on 5zigen Fireball 16" with 215/45/16 summer tires. Silver one side, gunmetal other side.

To get it on the road, I think you’ll need new radiator, radiator support, hood latch, and hood.
You could probably get away with the passenger fender bent a bit and the front bumper scratched.
I can include 2 spare fenders which I got 5 years ago preparing for an event like this haha.
Also have a spare dualcore alum radiator but need some channels welded before using.

What are your thoughts and estimate for a selling price? Thanks.

It deffinitly doesn’t look bad at all but i would have a shop look at the frame and see it is infact bent. Which its probably not bent, like you said drill out the welds and throw another support on and call it a day… Keep the DA alive…

def keep it alive if ya can it’s a DB2 for cryin out loud hahaha

trying to sell it smashed up like that isn’t going to net you diddly squat… you would have to part it all out to get anything…

Keep it!. Its a shame that you are not close by, I have an extra set of gsr seats that I would sell you.

keep that shit n fix it up

scrap it and burn it to hell… DAs are ugly… JUST KIDDING! That’s what others say, the non DA/DB1/2 owners say lol. Definitely not bad at all! You better save her!!

dang you enthusiasts! not one with a selling price. so hard!

Here’s some incentive to keep it… I’ll offer you 100 dollars hahaha

realistically speaking tho most wouldn’t shell out more than 1500 for a wrecked car regardless of what you have into the build or the fact it is a DB2… That’s my guess at least.

Keep it n fix it

Ive had a very similar repair done my teg when I bought it. My car had an inch over bite from the hood and bumper. I strips the front end down of any part that where in a 6 inch radius of the rad support and had it towed to a body shop. total to remove and weld on a new left side, upper rad support, massage the side apron and paint. $500. another $150 in OEM parts and every thing sit strait and true. A good body shop might even be able to just pull it. the key is YOU need to remove everything other wise that same job will run you in excess of 2 G’s.

Keep it, Fix It and bask in the glory of your GSR
