I am at work right now, I will post the pics I saved to my desktop for future reference. What is up with that interior? Never seen that on a G2 before. I’ve seen a couple of DB2s, most of them have cloth, I saw one with black leather, but never this not even in a DA9, can anyone shed some light on this?
I believe that car was for sale on here a while back and I was questioning whether the interior was original. The owner said it was but never provided a picture of the door jam sticker to prove it. Never seen tan leather on a gsr before.
Its one of 2 things. Special order from the dealer or someone at some point in time swapped parts out from a DA with tan leather. I can tell that the tan leather is from a DA. The leather door inserts are correct for the DA. The only way to tell if its original is either a invoice from the dealer at the time of purchase or like rollinmyda said the sticker in the door jam.
Gotcha. Reason why I am so interested is I recently picked up a DB2 with those tan inserts in the back, I guess there is some fading because these cars are over 20 years old now. I thought it was some kind of rare DA option. Now that I know what it is I will throw out these panels and get some black ones.
The whole rear panel is tan or just the insert? What color is your db2?
Obviously not original.
I wouldnt even say tan, it is more of a light grey.
