hey guys, is there a way to tell via the VIN if the DB2 came originally equipped with leather seat? this would be applicable to a 92 aztec green, Canadian car.

There wouldn’t be a way to tell in the vin#.
However all the DB2s came standard equipped with tge graphite grey w/red inserts, but any dealership coukd and would have installed the factory leathers for an additional cost if that’s what the customer wanted. G2’s were a cookie cutter car, you could get any option you wanted on any trim level as long as you paid.
In addition to the above comment…
G2’s which came with leather from the FACTORY will have leather seats AND leather door panel inserts.
G2’s which came with leather from the DEALER (dealer installed option) will have leather seats but fabric door panel inserts.
Of course it’s possible that some dealer installed leather interiors included the door panels but from some conversations we had here many years back it definitely seemed that the above two statements held true in all instances we came across. But yeah, I don’t know of a way to find out from the VIN.
