DB8 Seats on a DB1?

Will seats from the db8 chasis fit into a db1? Has anyone tried this before? pics?

most likely u’re gonna have to swap the rails…only 3 out of the 4 bolts will bolt up if you dont swap the rail(unsafe) and ur automatic seat belt won’t mount up(very unsafe). so in order to make everything work, u’re gonna have to swap over the seat rails using ur existing rails. might have to do some welding, unless you just chisel out the old welding and re-secure the new rails with a short nut, and bolt.

try looking at this DIY, it’s for installing del sol seats, but it’s pretty much the same concept…almost. it helps gives u an idea

Its like db1st said. And for the rears, if I remember correctly they do fit just take some work to get them to fit right and it is a super tight fit.

Like they said 3 of the 4 bolts line up. Its not worth the extra work because the seats sit a little higher than normal.

Redline on here just put JDM Type-R interior in his DB1…contact him and he could tell you how he did it. Car looks sick!
