DC Sports or Greddy?

I did a search, but did not find the answer to my question.
I know DC Sports is a great header and I also know which headers are nothing but garbage, but I did not find anything about the greddy header. Are they any good? How do they compare against DC? I can buy a Greddy header for $60 less than a DC header. Which one should I get?

i haven’t heard anyone using the greddy header so i wouldn’t know about it but i use the dc sports header and i have a sp greddy exhaust on my b16a… dc sports headers are worth the price believe me… just my opinion hope that helps

greddy makes great products… go for it!

Just got a DC Sports header myself very nice fit well made.

I have the same problem…i can get the Greddy for a little bit cheaper, but whats ground clearence like for both the DC and Greddy?

id assume pretty close to the same…

GaRn, you don’t even own an Integra, why are you giving product advice??? :bang: :loser:

1fast92GSR, I had a DC header. The ground clearance was good, I only scraped it when I managed to scrape everything else.

It did end up cracking where the 1-2 primaries come together after about 3 years.

like i said… id assume they are very close… get the greddy and save some mula! lata

which one is better for a 91 GS?

hmm

id say thats very controversial… differ ppl have differ opinions… they are both great from what ive heard and if you can get the greddy cheaper get that… get whatever fits your budget…

Garn, I think you should stop giving bad advice. You don’t own an integ, and you don’t have any experience with g2’s. What you can afford and what is a quality product are two different things, But thats for you to learn.

ok

do you disagree with what im saying? do you think greddy is bad? if you dont… i dont really see how thats bad advice…

Its bad advice when:
a) You’ve never installed one
b) You’ve never owned one
c) You’re just passing off second/third hand experiences or what you’ve read about in magazines or online.

Get some first hand experience with these products, and then give us your opinion.

does anyone have first hand experience with both the DC and GReddy? I mean, I can get them for the same price but I want to know…
what one is stronger, and will last longer?
what one yields more power?
what one has better ground clearance?

you guys quit stealing my thread and if you dont know the answers, dont reply. if you have FACTUAL information, please post it. other than that, put the keyboard down, and continue whacking off or whoring someone else’s threads.

I think 1fast92GSR started this thread.

Scott, I did give my opinion of the DC header that I owned. I don’t own a Greddy header nor do I know anyone who has so I can’t say anything about it.

I do know that I will not spend my money on an aftermarket header again. The reason is that my car does not feel any slower with the stock one back on. If anything, it’s quicker off the line.

I think 1fast92GSR started this thread.

:read: yeah, you’re right. I started a thread just like this a while ago, and i just thought it was the one i started… eh, oh well.

I think SE-37K is right, it’s like telling someone how to install something correctly when you your self haven’t even done it before. I personally haven’t owned a header so I don’t know, but I hjave friends that have owned DC SS headers, and they are good quality and if you go with eather header, go with a stainless steel one. Is the Greddy SS?

ya

well tellin someone how to install is differ then just passing on what others have told me, and yes the greddy is SS.

I own a Greddy header, have driven many cars with the DC header, and have installed both on cars before. They have pretty much the same clearance, and performance gains - the latter not being that apparent on a ‘stock’ car, regardless of header. The only visual difference between them is that the primaries bend in an ever so slightly different fashion before meeting the A pipe. The DC has O-ring gaskets that separate the primaries from the A pipe and the Greddy has a gasket flange separating the two.

All Greddy headers are stainless steel only, so depending on whether or not your DC choice is stainless or ceramic coated may be the deciding factor in determining which header you should purchase. The quality on both is relatively the same otherwise. However, since you said that you could obtain the Greddy header for less money, I would go with the Greddy header in your case.
