i was reading awhile back about putting dc2 forks on a da. i can’t find the thread. if anybody knows where it’s @ please point me in the right direction. thanx guys!
cool thanx a lot bro
no problem
so if i read that correctly, dc2 rears will fit on a da with no modification?
rears referring to what? trailing arms? or LCAs? or shocks/springs?
my bad, shocks and springs.
Yup… straight swap.
imo it seems that after swapping everything that the rear “sags” if u will so i think i’ll get all four forks but only do the front n see how i like it n go from there:rockon:
When swapping to DC suspension, especially the rears… make sure they are a coilover setup cuz the stock DC rears are shorter than the DA rears…
With a coilover setup… you can always adjust to your liking…
thanx for the advice. i’m wit coilovers the whole way. i had gc’s on my ef n loved them. i’ll prob do those n not to sure on shocks yet but i’m looking around
im on omni power tylites full coilovers on dc forks but I cant seem to get it lower and its on its lowest settings, you think the dc forks are different in height besides the diameter where the shocks go in. i know some has encountered the same problem.
the front dc forks are taller i believe i just recently swapped in some stock dc front shocks, and i ended up cutting like 3 1/2 coils off the springs and still had to use a 6 foot bar to pry the lca down to fit the damn strut in there, all in all dropped it like 1/2-1" maybe i wasnt really looking to drop it in this fashion just what i had to do to make the damn things fit lol.
plz correct me if i’m wrong n yes i read the article but the dc forks should bolt on to the da with no mods or anything?:dunno:

:bowthank:
sorry to bring up a old thread but i bought some used shocks and they came with 92 integra forks (unless they mark them wrong) and the forks were not as wide as my 91 integra and the shocks didn’t fit my forks cause the shocks was kinda bigger and i have some civic forks too and those are not as wide as the 92 integra forks, and i need to know if my axle will rub against the forks or am i gonna have to grind the forks to make them wider…
Bump
