Ive been searching high and low but can’t seem to find anything.
Has anyone ever fitted any type of dc2 front lip to a 1992 da6/da9.
New Zealand has no aftermarket lips for da integras sadly and I dont want to look at importing one just yet. So I thought I could try use what is available over here (which is 99% dc2 parts).
due to the shapes and dimensions of the bumpers being quite different, the lips aren’t useable. I imagine, with some HEAVY modification, you could make it work. But, in all honesty, it’s more trouble than it would be worth. Not likely to look very good. I don’t know how shipping internationally goes, as all my dealings have been within the US. But, there are a good amount of places online that sell respectable front lips for the 92-93 front end.
jdpengineering.com makes the best. But, they’re a bit more pricey than other online retailers. Their stuff is completely handmade, has excellent fitment, and is of extremely high quality. I paid $355 for my OE2 lip, including shipping.
I have onw installed. Its OEM jdm itr lip and it will not be a bolt on. Modifications will be need to make it fit.
Currently primer and waiting to have time to paint it.
you can see the difference in length from the lip design for the 92 bumper and the jdm itr lip
[QUOTE=Ominous G2;2305132]I have the JDM ITR front lip, it is a replica because I didn’t want to mangle an OEM lip. But the plus side to that is it’s a bit cheaper.

This looks really good! I’m assuming you had to do the same modifications that aftermath did to get his to fit?
im pretty sure he did. Unless he only cut the ends and left them like that. Gloss black makes the illusion that the lip isn’t that big from the “end” we don’t like Colin. I notice that on my lip they look huge, maybe its just because my lip is still primer black.
