DC5R Brembo Calipers on DA

I have come across a set of DC5R Brembo Calipers and s2000 front discs my brother decided not to use on his car. Has anyone else tried this setup? Besides redrilling the s2000 rotors to 4x100 would I need anything else?

You are going to have to try it out. look on rsx forum because you will have to do the same thing as on a rsx. S2000 rotors have different offset than civic/int/rsx may be good, may be bad.

yeah i searched HT and around other sights, some people say its possible but no one really seems to have actually done it or have a picture. Most people say just dont do it because of cost, but already have the rotors and the calipers. I just dont want to redrill them if its not even going to fit.

i, unfortunately do not have any constructive information, however, am curious to see what you come up with…if you dont want to bother i’d be interested in purchasing the calipers from you…let me know.

Here it ishttp://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=628752&highlight=brembo. But like with most things found online, I don’t trust to many things. There is no picture showing where the rotor is sittng in relation to the caliper. Looks like it will fit but it will limit wheel offsets and dish.

You may be better off running a stock offest rotor with a larger diameter rotor. That way you can make an extension braket that moves the caliper inward to the stock offset. You could also try making a bracket to move the caliper location and use a stock rsx/crv rotor

yeah im most concerned about the offset required to clear the bigger calipers…seems like i can get them to bolt up, but i may need spacers to get them to fit, all the info online is unclear…i do have a set of fg2 calipers sitting around too, i think thats a straight bolt on affair with redrilled rotors

FG2 is a bolt on with civic/rsx/crv 11.8" rotor. The s2000 rotor is not going to work.

yeah i may just try that, thanks for the help
