Good to hear that it works! Keep us posted as problems arise (hopefully they don’t).

Thanks for the review!

I know a lot of people that use DDM tuning. I use them for my HID’s for my Jeep and will be ordering from them fro my Integra. It takes a while b/c it’s getting shipped straight from where it’s made (not in the USofA). It took me about 3 weeks to get mine. The shipping label said in passing US customs. Once that clears expect them the next day or the day after. I am very pleased with my kit and it took me about 20 minutes to install. Everything plugged up perfect. I’m going to order mine this month b/c im driving the teg more and more these days.

I have the DDM slim ballast kit for my head lights and the DDM standard balast kit for my fog lights. I am not satified with the standard kit they are just like ebay hid kits sometimes they work sometimes not i am going to upgrade to the slim ballast kit soon. I am very satified with the slim kit tho no flickers and they turn on everytime!

Could you guys post pictures of your HIDs?

Dont really like the blue tint in the 6000k so maybe will try 4500k or 5000k.

From the Original Post.

Headlights work fine now. No degradation in color or intensity.

Dm of mD

This is a crap cellphone picture of my HID’s on my jeep. I think they are the 6000k.

Sorry these are cellphone pictures. But i have 5000k ddm kit.

^Looks pretty white to me! Thanks!

This must be an H4 setup for the JDM one piece?

Your welcome! Its a 9006 bulb cut out to fit h4h housing.its not blue at all.mostly a white beam.

I assume these are 35w kits since 55w may melt our stock harness?

Also, is it the raptor v2 or slim kit?

How’s the output?

Been thinking about the raptor v2 35w 4500k kit for pure white.

i had the ddm 55w installed in my teg and my friend’s 09 civic about 2 years ago, still going strong on both cars. there is no melting of harnesses. although, i noticed one of his headlights turned back to a yellowish stock color, so i’m wondering if the ballast is going bad.
to the op, consider some one piece headlights, amber bumper lights, and a type r lip. would look clean on top of the hids

Final verdict on these in OEM housings with output.

my drivers side slim ballast stopped working. Got an RMA # just need to send it in. Relatively pain free so far.

This is for my TL but the ballasts and what not are pretty much the same in any other slim kit.

to OP: Wire colors are defined by the type of relay as shown here:

before you berate the poor support kid, these guides were available before your OP.

edit2: well a day after they received it at their returns dept they sent me an update on the ticket and will be sending me a new ballast. This is on Dec 1st. Supposedly I’ll get a new tracking # for the shipment but I have not yet received any notification yet. They’ll probably ship out this coming week. I’ll update with my experience when I receive it.

edit3: shipped sometime last week, and it’s taking a really long time to leave China. Luckily I dont even use my fogs that often.

edit4: er, came in yesterday or something. Havent had the time to drive back to my parent’s house to get it.

edit5: installed the kit back in with the new ballast. Both are working again so we’ll see how that lasts.

and to reiterate, HIDs arent good in g2 reflector housings. My TL’s reflector based fogs with HIDs have a better cutoff and light spread than the the g2 headlights.
