Ok people here is the scenario…
a few months ago i got my hands on a 2000 si from a friend who had crashed it about 4 years ago, rear ended,l hit and run, i work in a bodyshop and one of my coworkers worked on this car and swaped out the 2 quarter panels, the rear body panel, and the floor. Now the car has 99xxx miles in it. The lack of pay from the owner led my coworker to not finished the job, it needs to be prepped and painted, the car is all apart which i have no proplem finishing the job and driving it, but the car was parked for 4 years, it was never put on hold at the dmv, so it owes money. i have all the parts for but it needs little things here and there which will probably lead me to spend about 400 dollars on these parts, 400 dollars on tags, 400-600 materials including paint....altogether 1200-1600 to get it running good and legal.
I bought it for $1500...
On the other hand i have a 91 da, and she is running great and i have no complains and i ike her a lot, so i was thinking on fixxing the si and sell it, but with my hours i work monday through sat from 7 am - 9pm, i have no time to do this.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK????
i HAVE THE SI PAID OFF, SHOULD I SWAP EVERYTHING OVER OR WHAT???
Any input i would appreciate it, and thank you for taking the time to read this…
