Alright, here is one reason why its taking so long. Its not difficult, just time consuming.

Notice the lack of lines and shadows on the ground, the lack of a front license plate on the right car? This took about an hour to do. Not that I would do this for every picture, but if you guys are interested, I can spend this time on the pictures, and had planned on doing that. I can spot some touchups still needed, but I will get to those when I get some more time.
Thought I would show you guys that I had not forgotten, and was actually spending time on them.

All right, I am (still) thinking of buying an s2000. If you were me, which one would you get, an ap1 or ap2 and why?
I will keep the db1, not sure if I will finish it or not though. I will probably use it as a daily driver, and the s2k as a “fair weather” car. I will not keep it stock for long though. I think I am preping for my mid life crisis. :squint: That and I am starting to crave rwd again (hotrod roots).
Oh ya, anyone here work off of Denton Tap road in Coppell? Drives a blue teg coupe, with black (cf?) hood? I see it quite a bit parked in front of a Dry Cleaners.

I think the AP2 looks a little more aggressive then the AP1 for some reason. It doesn’t matter which one you get, either way you have a great car right of the line. I was thinking about when I get my credit built up buying one too. I know it sounds silly. But I would so go for it.

Nope, never was considered. Though a core majority of us do not have performance mods to compete on a track or the strip. Maybe as our chapter grows some, we can look into something like that.
We all have been meeting up at Taco Cabano for some time and our meet last December was the first time at Lake Arlington. I brought up the idea of having a picnic in late March at that location to try something different.

Actually I just like modding the cars I buy. Like say doing an over the top, rear engine da . Yes I’m dreaming but still planning on buying another to at least try the swap. The only problem I haven’t been able to solve to my satisfaction is the wiring. :ohyeah::burnout::naughty:
im so freaking upset…
i took my car to get it inspected yesterday and the idiot said the rpms were flucating and had to abort, i think because the dumbass didnt know how to drive a 5spd. then i take it to another inspection place and it failed emissions…
the 25mph emission test its suppose to emit on 174 HC thats standard, it read 3892. then on the 15mph emission test the standard is 180 and it read 1375.
he says he doesnt know what it could be, but suggested hook it up to diagnostic computer for 100$ and then it could probably tell me what the problem is…

As a certified state inspector. I have never seen our cars do that unless the map was set to run RICH as FU*K and the cat was not working for crap. Are you white smoking like a son of a gun? If not then your car has no reason to be running 10 time the hcs as normal. They didnt do a gas calibration on their machine.

However when I took it to the other inspection place, I know the guy didn’t put the probe inside the tail pipe and I didn’t see him put anything in gas tank…
I have taken that state inspector test before, and I have seen them do it and I thought the guy who performed on my car didn’t do it right.

afterwards, did he say that he could fix it? or did you ask if he could? If he said that he can fix it for you with out you asking him first then he is doing it illeagally and trying to make money off you.

as for the S2000… would you consider buying a 08 S2000 CR? its black fairly new he bought it late summer and is now thinking about selling it.
but as for the blue DA parked in front of the dry cleaners with the black hood… thats ramiros DA he went to the meet, i even believed you took pics of his car. he has the polished j mags… its parked in front of koalah cleaners??
