I also think that it is best we delay another week. We want as many 2nd gens at the meet instead of the body shop or scrap yard. I’m gonna call my boys off and let them know that we need to wait one more weekend. Everyone be safe out there in this weather so we can meet in safer conditions!
Let me say it now before we head into spring time weather… if the weather is bad (see: not just some rain… severe weather), I will delay the GTGs instead of putting people at risk. If you have suspension that the weather is bad (not just raining), make sure and check the board before you head out to the GTG…

I live less than 2 minutes from the TC that we will be going to next weekend. My wife went out to get gas, and has already seen 2 cars spun off the road. Not saying its “all iced up” around here, but at least 2 people have found a way to spin off the road. Good idea that we will be having the meet next weekend. (It also gives me time to get over the Strep Throat I have at the moment.)

na’ daughter got RSV, so I got it, then since my immune system was low, I got strep. New year has been kinda shitty with health this year.

BTW, posi in a FWD car is not exactly the best thing for ice. Snow or slush ya, but on ice its plain sucks. Oh well, got to work (~30 miles one way) ok, hopefully will get home ok tonight.
Dallas needs to get off their asses and sand I-30. They did SOME of the over passes, but they forgot to do the big one at the Trinity river East bound. That was fun this morning. I almost did the F&F under the trailer of an 18 wheeler this morning.

As of right now, we are still on. If the weather does go to crap (NWS is absolutely not sure about the weather for the next several days), we will call it off.

My friend just called, he is feeling bad and won’t be coming if we are still meeting. I am right down the street from were we are meeting, so I can stop in if we are, but as of now its 37 degrees outside and raining. To be honest, I would rather wait for it to be clear so we can at least stand around the cars for a few and anyone who has some new stuff can ‘show it off’.
eeeewwwwwww… just looked at the radar… it is going to be rainy all night… I am sooo sick of rain… I have not been able to wash up and take good pics of the new car yet because of the weather. All right… as of 16:38 I am going to postpone the GTG another week… if the weather sucks then, we will just push it back to the next planned GTG.

Yes once again, the weather has foiled our plans. This is a good time to definitly do any last minute preperations and get well from any sicknesses. Lets for sure cross our fingers for at least dry conditions, because if this keeps getting delayed every weekend, we’ll end up meeting when its 110 degrees and no clouds in sight (ha-ha)! Hope to see you fellas next saturday!
yes I am sure the next time we meet will be after the new rims, interior work, turbo, exhaust, and paint job on my car will be finished. (i don’t plan on having any of that finished till the end of the year.) of course I am joking… maybe, depends on the weather. heh

For anybody that is interested… I am organizing a GTG at the Fuddrucker’s in Bedford off of Hwy 183 and Forest Ridge. I think there will be some Subaru folks as well as some 8th gen Civic folks out… any of the G2 guys are welcome to come hang out… we will also be having the normal G2 shin dig that evening for those that would rather do that (see the other DFW GTG thread for info)!!!
Two in one day!!!
Now that sounds great! Two meets in one day. This will make up for all those weekends we missed out. So Fuddruckers @ 12:30 then Taco Cabana @ 8:00! Is anybody down for that? And if you can’t make the original one at 8pm, I’m sure you can do the 12:30 meet! Is this what I’m understanding (plus the weather seems to be in our favor).
I will be at both GTGs Saturday… the one at Fuddrucker’s was originally a Subaru thing until I bought my Civic… and the one at TC that evening is the original G2 GTG… 
Won’t be at the early meet, have too much to do on my car to make that one. But I will be at the 8pm one.
