Diamond racing wheels...

So I’ve decided to purchase a set of diamond racing wheels. I’m going 15x8 0 offset, now what are people running as far as back spacing?

seriously?

if youve already determined you want 8" width wheels with 0 offset then youve got a 4" backspace

^^^lol

The current ricer stage!! Hondas are starting to look like the mini’s from the late 80’s early 90’s, daytons poking out 3".

Wish I had a photo of it, but this weekend I spotted a DA with wheels that appeared to have ZERO backspacing. The entire wheel was sticking out…

its because pictures are plastered all over the internet of sportmax/xxr wheels that have 0 offset 8" wide wheels and people dont know what modifications/tire sizes etc that those people are using to pull it off successfully and it ends up looking like a truck with super swampers… i see way too many local people loosing out and selling their setups after they’ve failed and realizing how silly it looks… to each their own of course…

when i was dead set on getting diamonds i wanted 15x8 backspacing at 4.75", which equals ET19. little to no poke with mild camber

Whatever happened to regular wheels lol. Diamond racing wheel is soo heavy. I mean its just a damn steelie and idk i guess i wont understand the current low offset woth stretch tires trend.

So with a 15x8 wheel and a +19 offset it would sit dead flush?

If you wanted 8" wide, +20 would be flush with slight camber but still within specs
7" wide you want +7 to be flush

pretty interesting. This guy is running 15x8 with +12 offset and he’s pulling it off. Diamond racing as well.

slight pull along with a roll. but i still am told its not that easy. Can somone explain this to me?

love those two just posted…gorgeous

the info on it not being that easy…you can pull and roll the fenders pretty easy…the difficult part is not cracking the paint and having the fender come out even…in other words, let a shop do it, if you arent that experienced

Thanks for all the advice

Diamond racing wheels are not heavy…in fact they CAN SOMETIMES bend very easily if you run them daily and are not careful and live around shitty roads, on top of the fact MOST people want to be mad flushed out with them. They are called racing wheels for a reason…meant for the track, not hard parking gayness.

coilovers were originally intended for racing too…IJS, fuk the reason, if the consumer likes it, they will buy it

I agree, I’ve just seen more than one person have to replace singular wheels more than once cause of daily driving and roads here are not that bad for the most part. Don’t get me wrong though, I still think they look good regardless when done right. Good thing they are fairly cheap.

Actually my friend who spoke to the owner of Diamond racing wheels, when he wanted to run them on his miata…he specifically said the lighter ones are just for the track…but the ones that people usually run on the street are the much heavier ones…

so we can run 15x8 with a 5" backspace which is equal to a +12 offset correct? but for the fronts we have to run a 5mm spacer to clear our calipers. as well as doing a roll and a slight pull.

heres a chart for reference:

But outta of honestly, save your money on these heavy ass steelies. I have no problems with stretching tires and looking for that “hellaflush” look, but dude if you’re gonna do it, do it with a legitimate set of wheels. If you can’t afford such a set, then don’t do it at all. Don’t hop on the bandwagon, as most people who end up getting them usually end up regretting ever buying them or ends of selling them for a significantly lower price than what you paid at the start. You can spend your money elsewhere and be much more content with what you have.
