Did a swap and turns on really high and dies

Hey g2ic members i just did a b20b swap with a b16 tranny everything is in and when i turn the key it turns on and iddles really and then it turns off i change the map sensor two time and the relay and the §§§§§ cause i had extra ones lying around i disconnected the map sensor and it starts up but the iddle is low and the check engine lignts up so dunno what to do help me out g2ic

figure out what the check light is for, then go from there.

  1. CHECK YOUR CEL. The car comes with a Check Engine Light for a reason, it is trying to tell you what is wrong, if you would only check it.

  2. Please use some kind of punctuation… Run-on sentences are not easy to follow.

Does it die when you try to give it gas? Or does it just idle badly until it finally dies?

Do the RPM surge up and down like a vacuum leak?

I’m betting that it is the Idle Air Control Valve.

sounds like a forgotten/misplaced vacuum line somewhere.
