did leak down test found this please help.

Ok i did a had to pay for a leak down test i guess the guy told me its leaking from the spark plug holes anyone have any ideas on this? what could cause this? he got 150 0 0 155 for compression keep in mind i just had the valve fixed and i dont get why i am getting these numbers he trying to tell me that i put the headgasket on wrong which i did not also would a valve adjusment yield these low numbers? i dont know i had them do the timing belt water pump valve adjusment and the timing sooo… please help.

No one could tell you if you put the head gasket on because you put it on and you were there. How many miles are on the engine?

Usually when you have low compression between two adjascent cylinders it could be a few things. There could be a leak between the two cylinders through the head gasket. There could be a crack in the cylinder head. The cylinder head could be warped. The block can have an inconsistent or imperfect deck. That’s pretty much all it can be.

I concur with Elmer. Sounds like the shop you took your car to may have reused the stock head gasket. I’ve heard of that happening before. Or, you could have warped head or an uneven deck on your block. What you should do is do a leak down test on one of the bad cylinders and listen through the spark plug hole of the adjacent cylinder (with a mechanics stethescope). If you hear air coming out…pull the head and go from there. You can’t fix it by any other means.
