Had a lot of fun. Will be doing the rest of the season (if I can). I ran in STS with wheels (15" Kosei K1s), Khumo 711 (205/50 15), Tokico Illuminas and Neuspeed Race springs.
I didn’t know that there were two sessions. If I had know that I would have been at my pit going through the course in my head, instead of looking at the pretty cars. Might have helped my time a little.
I didn’t do too bad, I got fifth place in Novice class, one from trophy placing (dang it).
Now I’ve got to install my other stuff (brakes pads) and get all of the maintenance stuff done on my teg (timing belt, head gasket…etc).

Welcome to AA(auto-x annanomous). It is very addictive. And oh so much fun. I’m in my second full season and with a co-driver. Probably going to jinx myself here, but, the 'teg is doing great! I have 154k on it and it still pulls strong. Just got the camber kit on before last event and that was an amazing improvement.

Thanks, I was wanting to get into autoX cause I figured it would be cheaper than road racing a sportbike. It’s a less expensive, but not by much.
dk91ls, did you add more negative camber or did you correct negative camber? I have a camber kit, but my suspension hasn’t settled so it’s still pretty high and doesn’t really have any negative camber (yet). Did you go Ignalls?
I have as much negative camber that I can get. I have the Ingals kit. Not the extreme kit. That kit gets you more positive camber. For auto-x you want to get as much negative camber to stay off the shoulder of the tire and on the contact patch. Install, then get an alignment.
Also get the alignment with the tires you run on the car. I have daily drive wheels and auto-x wheels. Getting the alignment done that way will get you the best performance on the course with the tires you run. :manual:
