are there differences between an obd0 auto and manual wiring harness, because I have an obd0 harness that is different than my original obd0 harness and it is supposed to be a replacement, thinking it may be an auto harness instead (extra plugs). How would I go about adapting the auto harness to work on my manual, mainly it doesn’t have a ground which is keeping it from starting that the original had.
well i was running a auto wiring harness in a manual there is just a plug for the egr valve oh and then there is a plug or two that run to the little vacuum box for auto only all the grounds are the same. did you make sure to ground the one on the water neck. there is three grounds on g2’s one to the tranny one to the valve cover and one to the water neck.

on the new harness there is no ground wire to connect to the water area?, instead i have a three prong plugs. It would seem that the harness is missing the ground then?, it is supposed to have the ring connector onto the water area with either auto or manual I assume.
also the fan sensors are different, no two sing wire connections but in the area there are two sets of two way plugs.

?? just need to get the car running, basically the harness seems to be missing a ground.
basically the situation I’m trying to figure out is I have that connector instead of a ground connector that should connect via a small bolt onto the water/coolant inlet.
well that plug looks like the one that goes to the egr i have a auto harness that im my garage and it has that plug and a ground. that is so strange
were did you get the harness from?
I got the harness from a member on the boards who has 12(100%) feedback, the harness has no ground that I can find in that area, and I know from a previous motor swap that the ground is needed to get the car running.
you are right. if there is no ground wire there something is wrong because yeah the car will never run. is there anyway that it could of been taped in the loom some how?? i have a harness out of a 90 integra i would sell and i know it works and has the ground

I found the ground it was just hidden real well and I overlooked it for 30 minutes :crazy:
