hey, I see alot of tegs with bright headlights and fog lights and then very dimm corner lamp bulbs, mine being one of them, ive tried a bunch of generic bulbs , white and amber, and they are both very dimm, my buddy who also has an xsi used just regular amber bulbs and his are very bright, just curious if anyone might have a solution ? , thanks
well…
corner light bullbs are only 5watts. headlights are 45watts. of course corner lights will look dimmer.
yea but my buddy has really bright ones , and ive seen other tegs with bright corner lamps, amber bulb and white, didnt have the same issue with my old GS either thats why im curious
if its on the oem ones it caus there are 2 bulbs in the corner peice on the jdm ones there is only one bulbs so it would be a lot dimmer.
if you want it to be brighter try getting bulbs with more then 5 watts and see what happeneds
I just replaced them with some white LED’s there a nice brightness and gives off a bluish white light, also did the from bulbs with xenon super whites , gives off same bluish white light but i gotta say there pretty terrible lighting cant hardly see the light on the road at night unless its pitch black :\
I have this Problem Also with my driver side corner being too dimm (dimmer then the other one, all new bulbs. Somebody Please post an Intelligent answer to this.
 Do not answer with guesses like:
-use higher wattage and see what happens
-jdm has one corner bulb

Daaaa, maybe check the condition of the bulb socket, or the wiring going to the bulb socket or that bulbs ground.
It could also be the ICU, front side markers are controlled by the ICU,
Check the above, and see what happens.:whisper: 94
They are just not that bright…unless it’s total dark they will be dim, that’s just the way it is. And from my experience those LED bulbs are even worse than the cheap ones…
WOW Even If I say that, it still happens!:goyou:
