Dipping HX wheels??

Hey just wondering about how much it costs to “dip” wheels in chrome? Also does anyone know of a place that does that in the Milwaukee WI area?

Thanks ahead of time :hugs:

You’d have much better luck utilizing Google I’m betting…

I can’t find any statewide shops on Google… ugh lol:bang:

Local phone book. Or suggest driving around looking for one…

Really?

You can also talk to any local hot rod type shops or body shops (ones that work on older cars, not just new cars) and ask who does their plating.

Shit now that you say it, I do remember theres an old muscle car/ hot rod shop nearby me. I’ll def ask them on Monday or so. Otherwise theres a website and they offer free shipping both ways and they charge $50-150/wheel to polish them. Which I’ve stripped and polished wheels before but I’ve always messed them up by not “maintaining” them.

Thanks again
Jason

When using google, or the internet in general, try to use the normal terminology for an industry, not slang. “chrome dipping” would probably lead to a bunch of stupid honda-tech threads about stretched tires or a site about donks or something. The correct term is “chrome plating” not dipping.

Glad I wasn’t the one to be a dick

LMGTFY, good stuff.

Lol it’s all good, I thought it was funny. I agree “dipping” is pretty slang. Thanks for the help even though it was obvious I was being a tard with the google search.
