dirt inside Jdm headlights

Alright so I bought these mint 1pcs headlights from this guy in Ct for $150 a week ago. The only thing is that they have some dirt inside since he didnt have the dust boots. I was wondering if theres any thing I can do to remove that. i know I can open them up but I dont want to because I dont wanna mess them up. And as for the dust boot I had some 94 civic headlight laying around and I am ablre to use those boots off of it. Tight fit but it will work perfect.

compressed air, a vacume or a combo of both?

Get out your lights, a bendy straw & a vacuum.

Tape the bendy straw to the attachment on the vacuum w/ the skinny slit for hard to reach areas. Seal all around the straw.

Take out all the bulbs in the lights.

Turn on the vacuum & stick the straw into the holes, looking @ the front to “track the straw’s movement.”

Put bulbs in. Slap the lights onto your teg. Your done.

Hope this helps.

Corniest quote ever: “Get yours today! JDM is IN!”

throw it in the the oven to melt the glue, gently pry it apart, and give them a good cleaning…then put them back together and reseal with sealant.

take a look at the procedure to take apart the 92-93 tail lights to remove the orange reflector piece and take a similar approach

yea ill try that tonite. As for the oven process ive done that before but since the headlights are all plastic im afraid of melting them and ruining the headlights. But thanxx for all your help.
