I have a P30 distributor that recently blew the shaft bearing. I just bought an LS distrubutor and put it on my head. The LS distributor is only held on by one screw and I can’t get it to TDC. I was wondering if the shaft of the LS is the same as the P30? I switched out a D16 shaft into my P30 casing, but the rotor was off by a couple of degrees. I know they both have 24 teeth on the shaft, but I need to know if the rotor position is the same.
