On my 94 Accord I noticed there is a strong odor of melting plastic coming from in or around the distributor cap area. Any ideas?

Take that bad boy off of there and check to see if your rotor is messed. I dont know how the Accord is set up, but I just had a rotor melt on me and it cost me a brand new distributor. So find that problem before it finds you. And good luck.
