Could I get more power if I change my distributor from stock (90 Ls) to let say a B16a or GS-R distributor ?

No . You would have to use an aftermarket unit to see any difference. The 92-93 RS, LS, LSS, GS and GSR Distributer will not work with the 90-91 RS, LS, LSS or GS ECU (OBO is different)

One way to tell the different year distributers apart is:
90-91 distributer has a cream plug wire harness
92-93 distributer has a gray pulg wire harness
