diy jdm fender install

jdm fender install

here is a step by step of taking your oem fenders off and replacing with a set of jdm ones

tools needed:
10mm socket and wrench
12mm socket and wrench
towel( prefered )
phillips screw driver
small bucket

what you want to do is remove the bumper lenses and you should find two 12 mm bolts one on each side in front of the wheel well once you have these bolts removed the bumper and bumper support will come off, bumper is only like 40 of 50 lbs, place on towel or grass, wher ever it is so its on the side
you will have a total of 7 10mm bolts on that hold down each fender, 3 on top, 2 on the door top and bottom, 1 behind corner lense bracket, 1 behind plastic parts which are on fender, go ahead and remove the corner lense bracket by removing 2 screws, go ahead and place all bolts and screw in bucket, proceed to remove the bolts, you could use wd-40 to help loosen if you feel the need to make it go easier, but you really dont need it, after you have all 7 off your fenders should come off with ease, fitment of jdm fenders should be direct fit and install is reverse of removal go ahead and put your bumper back on and once finished stand back and admire

also you will need to replace the wheelwells by replacing 3 screws that attach to the fender;)
