Hey welcome! You do your own fiberglass work?

Thank you Nfulfx, & this is actually my first ever fiberglass work lols

Looks great so far!

I heard that’s difficult to work with so respect for doing it yourself. Very interested to see the final result! Post pix of the progress!

Progress update: finally did the last layer of bondo over the fiberglass. The fiberglass was the difficult part to do but bondo was easiest process; especially giving it the smooth shape with sandpaper, which was a lot of fun. It’s not super perfect but this is my first ever time doing body work/ fiberglass. I finally Got around to primer and base coat

yeah that doesn’t look like your first time.

Are you concerned about fiberglass cracking due to a parking block etc.? Is there something you added to make it more flexible? I heard urethane is better for bumpers because of this but I’m not knowledgeable on the matter.

Haha, I swear this is my first time messing with fiberglass & Yeah I do have my concerns about it breaking on something like that or like a dip in the road, I did try to add around 2-3 layers of fiberglass. Polyurethane does sound a lot better in this situation,

I have no idea how difficult it is to work with urethane.

Here are the final results of how it looks so far completed for a DIY “Type R” with 94-95 Accord oem lip. Definitely not the best work but a super fun diy project.
