Hey guys,
Has anyone used the DNX mid pipe on thier car? if you have how does it sound and perform? Should I order it or just have one made? I just got a flow master axle back exhaust and when I went to put it on, I discovered that the idiot who owned the car before me had replaced the exhaust the cheapest way possible. The piping is all one piece from the muffler all the way back to the resonator with some very nasty crush bends. So there is no seperate axle back and mid pipe sections. Plus the piping is smaller then stock. So what should I do? The thing is that the flowmaster intermediate and tailpipe diameter is 2.00 and the DNX midpipe diameter is 2.375 and its listed as a part for manual tranny and im running a tranny. Is that enough details?
I’ve seen DNX midpipes in summitracing, but never tried them.
I bought some Ractive ones to redo my exhaust, but I’m in need of money so I gotta sell one.
I have some NEW Ractive midpipes for sale 90-91 and 92-93.
Make offer at g_xiong77@yahoo.com
I have the dnx midpipe with a tenzo axle back. Im very happy with the quality and sound. My car is very deep not raspy at all. Overall i feel it is a good buy
Stokeless- thanks for the offer, I will think about it.
bball- thanks for posting as well, it helps.
Just one for question…I have an AT…will this mid pipe fit? because its listed only for a manual? I dont see how that makes a difference though because the pipe follows the same route from the cat back as the stock piece but just more diameter.
Dunno,
Mine are still new, and I havent checked for fitment yet either.
