alright so i was driving home the other night in my 91 da ls
nothing fancy
b18a
intake exhaust and thats about it
oil pump went out
sooo
oil pan gasket decided to go with it
so the question is
do i rebulid it
or buy another engine?

bought it about 7 days ago
i just want it to be a clean honda
im ok with slow
i can probally spend like 1000 on the engine

If that were me, i’ll just simpy buy a b20 block & call it a day. IMO

I would just get a new engine.

Yeah, you can find a B20 long block for $500 all day long. Around $750 shipped to your door from hmotorsonline with a start up warranty. I got mine from there and it’s been amazing.

I say get a new motor, hold onto the old one and use it once you decide you want to try to build one. I wish I had kept my old motor. Regret getting rid of it everyday.
