Do you re-gap old spark plugs?

I don’t really touch my car that often, so its not like I keep track of the spark plug gap. Its been almost 2 yrs and 12000 miles since I installed new plugs. I know they are cheap to replace, but do any of you guys frequently check the gap and regap them before the spark plugs really need to be replaced? I’m assuming the gap has increased since the time that I installed them, so I’m wondering if I should take the time to regap them. I still get 30mpg, so not touching them for so long hasn’t wreaked havoc on my engine.

Just pay the money and get new ones, if you are taking them out just spend the extra $15 on the plugs and treat your car right.

i dont do it. i just get new ones and recheck the gap on those and put them in. but i guess it depends on how the old plugs are if u still wanna reuse them. if u broke or something then just check the gap on it. if not just get new ones

ya no need to check em. maybe if theyre like a year old it wouldnt hurt, but by then youd want to replace em anyways. i think back in the day they would check them after sandblasting them clean

after getting iridiums, $80 for a set dayam! ive regapped them once just so i can get the most out of it, works nice w/ my setup ported LSVTEC 110octane and 125 shot of NOS, but its always best to get new ones
