Can anyone provide some hints how to remove the strain relief and the electrical connections/wires passing from the body into the door. The door is still on the car and my cage is preventing me from getting a clear view into the door to see the connector/strain relief. I can reach in to the door openings and feel the strain relief but can not pull the electrical connections out of the door.
Thanks!
theres 2 plugs on each side. then sort of a connector in the door that comes out seperatly.
pull the pin out of the door stop and you should be able to swing the door open a little more, removing the fender makes this whole job imensly easier.
I might have some pictures that would help
whats your email
Hello BLKACK1,
Thanks for the help, pictures wouid be great, m_sasso@shaw.ca
For sure take the fender off, then you’ll have a good amount of access to it. If Gylnn doesn’t have the pics, I can snap some real quick (I’m pulling a harness right now)
you might be able to get them from agazzi before ill be able to post up.
At work all day:(
Please take those pictures and post them up, I am going to give it a go again this weekend, Thanks!!!
Hello Mrpenny,
Thanks very much for the pictures!
