does anyone have a pic of what the door lock module looks like and where it goes? i think i am missing it… i found a plug under the dash that has 8 prongs and nothing connected to it. i suspect that the module is missing… thank you!!!
The door lock module is located behind instrument panel to the right of fuse box.
On a hatch there are 9 leads going to the door lock module.
1- white/yellow, power fuse 5 - 20A, [hot at all times] in under dash fuse box.
2- black/white from pass. door switch, [unlock].
3- black/red from pass. door switch, [lock].
4- green/red from drivers door switch, [unlock].
5- green/white from drivers door switch, [lock].
6- white/red to both actuators.
7- black ground.
8- blue/white from drivers door actuator.
9- yellow/red to both actuators.
actually, i think i am missing an icu. in my old teg, there is a relay bolted upto a brown box right under the steering wheel. this car (the car i am working on) does not have it. can that be it?
aghhhhh. sorry guys, i am still not comfortable with having a car with so many wires!!! still unfamiliar with this car… apparently, i am missing the “Main relay assembly” that is what my current teg (the beater) has. i am assuming that this is what’s missing from my project teg. the plugs are the same and in the same location. i guess i’ll just swap relays between them in the meantime.
i have a main fuel relay and tried plugging it in but the connector that is missing a module har more prongs in it than the relay
FCM, the beater is a 91 rs and the project is a 91 gs. i guess i’ll use the 91 as a guidepost seeing as bits of the main wiring harness have been hacked and tapped…
I wish someone could just come and sort this stuff out for me.
http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/mainrelay.html scroll down a little and you will see where the PGM-FI Main Relay is, all G2s have the main relay in the same place and the all have 7 terminals with the same colored wires.:sipread: 94
i found two relays. a 0067 which looks like the one my rs has and a 0063 which is black. they both allowed for my car to start so i guess they work. i’ll take your advice and stick with the 0063. thanks for your patience and sorry for the runaround.
