Door not closing correctly.

Every time i shut my driver door regularly, sometimes the window goes above the top weather stripping causing it to be open a crack. then while inside the car if i roll it down then roll it back up it shuts normally. however on the outside, the door doesnt look like it lines up perfectly. im guessing this is something having to do with the door? its never been in an accident and everything is stock so im lost. Any feedback would be appreciated. thank you. 91 teg RS, manual windows.

i think there’s bushings in the door that can/should be replaced…mine need to be replaced, but it’s not as bad as your yet

my car does this also. just sometimes it catches the rain gaurd or will just kind of seat in the window sil on its own while driving. the issue with mine though is with the glass. something may just be loose. are you sure its the door and not the glass?

You might need to adjust the glass, but also Honda’s get door sag after while that can be fixed by replacing the hinge. Could be either one.

i would of thought it was the glass but the door sag currently is what is making me think it’s something to do with the door. Are the hinges and bushings hard to find or easily available through a website or auto parts store?

simple test take you glass if it has a decent amount of play to it its the glass, is there a write up on how to fix this i need to fix mine!

yeah it has some play but not enough for me to think it’s the glass. But yeah if anyone has a write up it would help out a lot thanks.
