srry i dont know if this waz already discussed or is common sense i just really dnt have time to search since im bout to do this minute…but does n e one know wat material our door panels are made of…is it fabric n plastic or fabric n vinyl or none of the above… cuz i painted them n redid fabric lke a year but it turnt out sticky as hell n i didnt know if it waz wrong paint type (i.e. material) or just cheap… plus my dumb ass forgot to prime it…so ima do it right this time…here are some old pics from last time n i appologize now for them being rediculously huge

Vinyl panels, fabric inserts. It’s sticky because you used the wrong paint. I didn’t primer my dash and painted it and it turned out perfect.
Anything that’s padded (door panels, dash etc) is vinyl, anythng hard is plastic. It’s not that hard to tell what’s vinyl and what’s plastic.

… o n i just went ahead n used the Rust-Oleum Paint For Plastic just now since i had more bottles of it…do u think it will work or should i have used the Rust-Oleum Paint for Fabric n Vinyl
What you SHOULD be using is a specialty product like SEM ColorCoat, or at the very least the Duplicolor vinyl paint. I have no experience with Rustoleums plastic or vinyl paints, so im no help there. But yes you did use the wrong paint for vinyl panels.
I removed the fabric from my tan door panels and painted them with black duplicolor vinyl dye spray paint, no primer required. That was 5 years ago and they still look great.

You need to get all the previous paint off, thats gonna be a bitch. Exactly why i need new door panels, i cant get my old screw-up paint off.
yeah ive been sanding all night n morning n nothing is coming off… its just turning the black to lke a grey… yeah i waz gonna just try some stock black doors n just replace the fabric instead
my friend used to have a civic like this with red and white painted interior, i used to joke her car was made by ebay,
just save some time , buy the whole interior, junk yard or craigslist

lol…yah…i know i had a model n painted to match…cuz my dad had a real 69 vette stingray n has a super nice ass clean 98 so were lke vette crazy…n supposedly if i keep this car through out my 4 years of college and have good grades ima get one as well when i graduate :)… but that fuckin model melted n warped lol cuz its been in driveway lke 8 months…smh
