double din radio block off plate DC2

Simple question. Will this mount properly into our center consoles?

its still a double din. should fit. its only covering the dins which are basically all identical.

Im basically just using it to mount the tunerviewII (http://hrtuning.com). I want to be sure the block off plate will mount properly and securely before I was the money buying it.

So if anyone with experience using the block off plates wants to chime in, please feel free.

I took out the stereo mount and made a template of it, then made a panel to put in there. I think that method would work for your idea. I used 1/8"(3mm)CF panel and backed it with a piece of 1/8" lexan. Might save you some money, unless you want it to be CF.

Thanks Junkman, I’ll check into that panel. I didnt know they made one for the DA.

came on some RS models… i’d compare that number with the ones for the DC. i’m sure its similar/same.
