DP Motorsports wheels

Hello every one , well last night i purchased a set of DP Motorsports rims with tires. Now i have no issues at all with the rims actually if anything I’am completly surprised at how light they actually are. (i can hold the rim with tire one handed with my arm out stretched) I was actually posting this for the OG’s on here. I remember myself seeing DP wheels on euro cars back in the day. But i cannot find anymore info one the company. All i know is that they went from making rims and products for Porsche and VW to just making performance parts and carying other companies wheels.

So I just wanted to know if any of the OG’s had any info on the company. I would at least like to know what model wheel i have and how much it actually weighs. ( i dont have a scale ) Thanks a billion

Do you have the 5 spoke or the 11(?or how many) spoke.

DP was quite popular on Hondas back in the late 80’s. I don’t think they lasted much longer than early 90’s. Like most wheels there were copies of them. Or for that matter they could have been the same wheels just marketed by DP.

BB had a similiar 5 spoke as well as Americn Racing.
Dotz had a similiar multi spoke
DP also had a Ronal copy which was a copy of an AMG or Lorisner wheel

They are the 5 spoke. And I checked and did some searching and they are the DP5 . I have them in a 15 and they are white . Actually they are the exact rims in the photo that you provided. Thanks a billion.
