I dropped Netflix because their selection sucks now. Not worth the $7 a month for a crappy selection of old movies and incomplete seasons of good tv shows.

I’m so glad they revamped Dr. Who and brought it back… Growing up Dr. Who was my winter pastime with my pops.
I agree about netflix… selection is crap, they take forever to get new titles. but 7 bucks a month is cheap… plus they have one fo the best selections of new and old CHinese martial arts flicks out there. That is about the only reason I keep that shit lol.

i tried it a couple months ago for free and was shocked at how poor the selection was.
though you are correct about the martial arts flicks… think i watched 6 hours+ worth every day for that free month.
didnt see any good old tv series though, like zatoichi, lone wolf & cub, killer priest, lady snowblood.
ah well, get what you pay for rings true.
havnt seen the newest season of Dr who… didnt know there was one yet.

Netflix looks near bare when you first try it out. The more stuff you watch, the more stuff shows up. I’ve certainly run into stuff that is DVD only, but after having it for a few years, I wouldn’t quite say that the selection sucks. Certainly not compared to not having it.
agreed… and for only 7 bucks a month I can’t complain too much.
when almost nothing you search for (BY NAME) is there and i can find anything i want free elsewhere, it sucks. thats just an opinion based on my preferences.
it has little to do with netflix learning my preferences.
