drag dr20/opinions

Hey forum, I’ve made the choice to buy some drag dr20’s but would like your opinions on acouple things…what measurments should my rims and/or tyres be? I think its 16x7 or 7.5 and the tyres 205/45/16.but can I go to 215 and is 45 too low of a profile? I want it to fill my wheel wells and not look like the rims/tyres are too small for my car.

55-series tires are stock… I have some 205/50s on my DA and think that they’re too small, they don’t fill the wheel well up enough. Next tires are going to be 55s for sure.

As far as being able to get 215s on them, you definitely should be able to… I have 205s on LS Meshes, and those are 15x6. The question is, what is the offset of the DR20s? If you get too wide of a tire you risk running into rubbing issues.

I can find out what the offset is I just don’t rely know how much room I have to play with but thanks that helps me

Totally different size tires you’re talking about bro. The OP is asking about 16 inch rims/tires and you’re giving him info on 15 inch tires/rims.

OP - in my opinion, for 16x7 rims, you can go with 205/45/16 or 215/45/16, both would look perfect if you want to tuck tire.

I don’t know what offset you’re getting with the DR20’s but I believe the popular offsets for those are +15 and +40. With the +15, go with 205’s if you don’t want to mess with camber and fender rolling and with the +40, both 205’s and 215’s will work without any hassel.

If you’re planning to get the 16x7.5, I’d stick with the 205/45/16. That’s just a general rule if you’re not going for the ridiculous negative camber, slammed, fender rolling route.

HolyFail, my bad.

get 205 45 16 for sure
