I am planning a Deal’s Gap / Tail of the Dragon meet for this spring. I am having the meet on May 16 -18. I have gone to the Dragon before and would recommend it to anyone. I am going to get a cabin in Sevireville/ Gatlinburg area for the weekend(around $30 for the whole weekend). Let me know with any questions & suggestions.

I looked at the calendar and the 17th or 18th might be a good weekend, that gives time to get everything in order.
i’m down to go, there is suppose to be a large group of people from Carolinahondas.com going on May 4th, if you guys could go then. BTW I saw you yesterday on Blue Ridge Rd. “G2White” I was a couple cars back, I saw ya turn to get on I-40.

Glad to see some dates getting tossed around. The 10th or 17th sounds good. I would like to go the 4th but most people still have school(I do). Doesn’t matter to me. Let me know if you can go for sure and I will add you to the list.
okay, so I just looked at my school schedule, and my exam week is over on tuesday may 6. Chances are all my exams will be done on the previous week, so I might actually be able to go up on the 4th after all… And since carolinahondas are going up on that day as well, it might be nice to meet up with them. What do you guys think?
on a side note, I can’t handle day trips up to the dragon anymore, so I am going to spend the night. I will either drive up friday and back satrurday, or up satruday and back sunday. lemme know if anyone else is interested in this as well…

“G2White” nah I don’t live by state, but I work out by the airport and I was on my lunch break, we should try and have a little meet sometime. From what I saw the CH guys are going on a Sunday, which would be fine for me because i’m off work, but like stated that’s a 5hr drive from Raleigh just to get there, so I would want to stay overnight. but I have work on Mondays, so I think the 10th or 17th would work better for me. I never get Saturdays off work, but I can always call in, or plan to take off.

i think the overnighter would be cool, it would be convient for most but the weekend of the 17th would be a little more easy for me. Now i know a fellow teg driver who wants to go and he has a few freinds that might want to go as well, he works in a mall so the overnight might be good for him to. let me know what you guys want to do?

because there are only 2 DA’s I know that have their exhaust on the passenger side, my boy has his coming out on his passenger side, but his is a black turbo da. your the only other white DA i’ve seen.

Ok it seems like the 10th or 17 is the weekend to go. The first weekend of the month to me has never been a good time to go. As far as what day I am in for sat thru sun. There are plenty of hotel within 15 - 20 mins. Also Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge is 30 - 40 mins. You can get a 3-4 bedroom cabin for 100 to 150 a night. If everyone wants to make it a weekend thing we could all throw in together on a cabin, it would be alot better than hotel. Also there are some other good driving spots near there(cherhola skyway, Blue ridge pkwy, and roads around Gatlinburg. Let me know what you think. or email me at donkeykongvtec@hotmail.com
