I was just wondering if it is safe to drill and secure screws into this area of the trunk?
I dont know why it wouldnt be safe, just use good screws, and make sure water or moisture build up dosnet accure around it or you will have some rust my friend
You going into the plastic or metal? Either way your directly in line with the rear struts. Right next to the fenderwell. Shot screws should be okay.

There shouldnt be anything there and the closest thing would be the fuel tank or line…i think its straight as long as u dont drill like a foot in

That’s what I was afraid of. But I think it should be fine. I’m drilling through it, not downwards into it.
